3× Gunpla Builders World Cup Singapore champion
David Liew, better known as Chocofalcon, is a three-time Gunpla Builders World Cup (GBWC) Singapore champion. He picked up Gunpla in late 2011 after visiting the Gundam Expo and GBWC here in Singapore, and is known for his dioramas and custom paint work.
Off the workbench he's a 3D artist. He was lead modeller on the animated film Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens, and has taught at ITE College Central since 2015.
At GBT he'll sit down for a short interview. Come hear how he plans a build, and bring your questions!

What is Greatest Build Together?
Model kits are usually a solo hobby. GBT turns it into an afternoon of building together.
Greatest Build Together (GBT) is a monthly model kit building event in Singapore, run by Greatest Studios. Gunpla, Gundam kits, figure kits, scale models: if it comes on a runner, bring it. Builders per session have grown from 10, to 14, to 30 at each of the last two sessions.
- Bring your kit. Any grade, any scale, any state of “I'll get to it someday.”
- Bust your backlog. That stack of boxes? Today's the day.
- Try new tools. Test stuff before you buy it.
- Meet other builders. Swap tips, show off, make build buddies.
Hang out Food, drinks and chatting welcome.
Low pressure No competitions. No targets. Just build.

How it works

Grab a ticket
Normal $20, students $15. Seats are limited and there's no restock: once they're sold out, they're gone.

Bring your own kit from the backlog. No kit? Come anyway and help build one from Jchan's backlog.

Snip, sand, snack, chat. Leave with more parts on your kit and more friends in the hobby.

When and where is the next Greatest Build Together?
The next session is on 25 OCT (SUN), 1PM – 6PM, at *SCAPE, Commune Lvl 1. Tickets start from $15.
How often is Greatest Build Together held?
Every month. Follow @greatestjchan on Instagram for each new date.
What kinds of model kits can I bring?
Any kind. Gunpla (Entry Grade, High Grade, Real Grade, Master Grade and more), other mecha and figure kits, and scale models like cars, planes and tanks are all welcome.
Do I need my own kit?
Yes, please bring your own kit. That's what the day is for! No kit yet? Come anyway: you can help build one from Jchan's backlog.
I've never built before. Can I come?
Absolutely. Bring a beginner-friendly kit (Entry Grade or High Grade is perfect), or help build one from Jchan's backlog. Plenty of builders will be happy to show you the ropes. Nobody's judging your nub marks.
Are food and drinks allowed?
Yes! Food, drinks and chatting are all welcome. Check out this month's partner perks too. Just keep drinks away from your parts.
What tools are provided?
There's a tool bar where you can try out tools before you buy them. If you have your own basics (nippers, hobby knife, sanding sticks), bring them along so you're not waiting your turn.
How does student pricing work?
Student tickets are $15. Buy the student ticket online and bring your valid student ID to show at check-in.
What's the refund policy?
